Took a while to build the mental fitness to tackle this goal. Well that and the right combination of weather and work schedule. Glad to have reached this level as comfortably as I did. Other than adjusting for the heat the overall effort on any one ride was not bad at all.

Very happy I could squeeze in that mid-day MTB ride on Tuesday. (Helps deal with workday stress) The Saturday ride was a fun, scenic cruise with my wife. Considering it hit 93 by 1 PM this was a rather fortuitous decision to get out early for a shorter, easier paced ride.
Another view with Average Speed.

Yes, a bit slower than I plan on doing for the RAAM2CC. However this overall average includes the Tuesday MTB ride at 11.5 mph (zone 2 / 3) and the Saturday ride w Wife at coincidentally 14.8 mph average. Interesting that ride was 100 watts average and a HR of 97 BPM. A good sign my distance and a lot of time in zone 1 and 2 training is paying off.
Now it is time to push for 250/week with at least on 80 to 100 mile ride every other week.
