Ok, so let’s be clear, once I do retire from the workaday career world my life will more likely be busier than it ever was before. Except now I am calling the shots on what I do, where and how I go, when, and what I will be doing along the way and when I / we get there. Notice the we. I do have a wonderful wife who is an integral part of my life.
So though I often ride alone it isn’t without her in my heart and mind.
Winding down – for 2025 I have scaled back my work week to just three days, Monday, Tuesday, and you guessed it Wednesday. I do enjoy my time at Natron but I am turning 68 pretty soon and it is time to start focusing on my rest-of-life goals and objectives.
Now is the perfect time to start the one-year training, planning, preparing, marketing, and fundraising for my Ride Across America 2 Cure Cancer. RAAM2CC for the City of Hope.
Sure I am really going to miss my data center, technology, environmental, battery industry friends, events / conferences, debates, and the tremendous opportunities they provided me to make a difference. Ok, so I am seriously hoping I did.
Though my days at Natron Energy are winding down my passion for what we are doing, changing the way the world stores and uses electricity are stronger now than they day I first walked through their doors in Santa Clara. Feel free to reach out to me to talk about our game changing chemistry anytime. I’m still around to help.
